For our Artist Member Spotlight this month, meet another winner of the 2024 10×10 contest. Rachel Lisbona is a filmmaker from Brazil who recently graduated from a dual degree program at Columbia University and Tel Aviv University. After graduation, she plans to move to Los Angeles to start her career in film. Before then, she hopes to work on another film with the Brazilian director Paulo Nascimento as an assistant director. She previously worked with Nascimento on the director’s upcoming film 13 Souls in the fall of 2024.

Rachel recently wrote, directed, and produced a 3-episode short series, Nothing Royal About This, in her digital production class.

Rachel has also been working with Saul Blinkoff, a director and animator who formerly worked at The Walt Disney Studios (Mulan, Pocahontas, Tarzan) as a marketing intern to help with outreach for his Life of Awesome company.
