About HV
HV is the hub for independent and alternative art, developed by and for artists and fans. If you're an artist, we want to help you create more. If you're a fan, we want to help you discover and enjoy cool movies, music and art.
We wear a lot of hats. But most of what we do can be broken down into 3 main categories:
Stream
Access our streaming library of rare and upcoming films, series, video essays and shorts and our HV ORIGINALS designed to push the boundaries of storytelling.
You can also showcase your work at online and in-person events.
Distribution
We offer options to distribute your films, series, shorts, music, art or articles on our platform. Once submitted, the content goes through an editorial board of fellow artists to determine if it's a good fit for the site.

Mentorship
Learn directly from experienced artists and peers. Our model combines CREATIVE FREEDOM and TRANSPARENT BUSINESS.
Workshop your project at our WIP Meetings.
At our Artist Roundtables, ask and answer questions with your creative peers. For aspiring filmmakers, we also work with a FREE online film school, at WATCH MEET MAKE.
